Your personal info will be used each time you add a new loyalty card from one of our partner companies, as we will send it to that company. CardMobili also allows you to enjoy of our centralized personal info service updating: when you update some of the data fields (such as address, mobile phone number, etc.), we will notify of those changes our partner companies from which you hold a loyalty card. We may also use that info to suggest you loyalty programs from our partners that may interest you, in agreement with your interests and info you want to share with us. Your personal info will never be sold, transfered or given to any company.
You can sign up to CardMobili in our website. You only need to provide a valid email address and a password. We will send an email to the email address provided. This email contains a confirmation link, that you must use to activate your CardMobili account.
For your security, your password is kept encrypted, and we cannot access it. If you have forgotten your password you must create a new one. Please use "Password recovery" and follow the instructions.

When you synchronize your mobile phone application, transferring the cards to your mobile phone, you will establish an internet connection from your mobile phone. CardMobili's partner companies have commercial agreements and guarantee total acceptance of this service in their stores, may use CardMobili to communicate with their customers, and their customers may update their personal info through CardMobili. You can register rewards, loyalty cards (your card that identifies you in a store), membership, insurance, and library cards in which giving the card's number or barcode is sufficient to identify you when you are in store.
Loyalty cards that are, simultaneously, payment cards (such as Visa, MasterCard, Discovery) cannot be used in the mobile phone at the moment. When your points balance is stored in the card itself, e.g.: when the store puts a stamp in your card when you purchase something, it isn't possible to get that card in your phone.
Not all cards, it depends on which type of card and how your account balance is stores.
There are two types of cards that can't be transferred into your mobile phone, as this feature isn't available yet: payment cards and cards which store your point balance: a card which is stamped when you make a purchase at a store.

To be sure that a card will work in store, use this simple rule: is it enough to show your card's number/barcode when you have to identify yourself in store? Then that card can be used in CardMobili's application! Just add it to your account, transfer it to your mobile phone and stop carrying your cluttered wallet.
In store, when you are asked whether you have a customer card, just say your card's number, that you'll find in your mobile phone's application. If you prefer, you can show that information to the cashier.
Barcodes are most successfully read from clean screens, without any kind of screen protection. Furthermore, hand-held scanners work better in reading barcodes from screens than flatbed scanners.
No. CardMobili's mobile phone application will enable your in store identification when you are identified by the number on your customer card. This way, you can use the card in all stores that use the number to identify the customer.

Although we are aware that they exist, we don't have their image. If you have such card, please send us the image, so that we can update that card.
You can add a custom card with that loyalty program and your card info. It will them be added to our database, and will soon be available.
There are some hurdles that exist before every mobile phone will work with all scanners. Even with the highest quality barcodes that CardMobili generates and the ability to customize the format for each individual merchant's card and barcode style - there are limitations and inconsistencies across scanning technology. Barcodes are just one of the features of the CardMobili service, but we recognize scanning mobile phones is a very important function and we are working closely with merchant partners and vendors to see how we can improve as an industry.
CardMobili is currently available through a mobile site (touch.cardmobili.com) and through mobile applications that can be installed and used in most mobile phones and smartphones. Just access our mobile site using your cellphone browser, or install the application and use your cards, with all the convenience.
